Therapy & Counseling
May, 03, 2023 The HHS.gov released a public health crisis.
The U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy advisory raises alarm about the devastating impact of the “Epidemic of Loneliness and Isolation in the United States.” The U.S. Surgeon General states, “Given the significant health consequences of loneliness and isolation, we must prioritize building social connection the same way we prioritized other critical public health issues such as tobacco, obesity, and substance use disorders. Together, we can build a country that’s healthier, more resilient, less lonely, and more connected.”
With that said I am a strong advocate for therapy in every individual’s lives. Some patients require more intense therapy and for longer periods of time. For those clients it is advised that you have a licensed therapist in the field of your need, that you have a rapport with who meets your needs for your healing process.
We can offer short term counseling for:
depression
anxiety
grief
stress
relationship issues
spirituality concerns
self-esteem concerns
We want to listen to what has shaped you and based on that find individualized solutions to your struggles with sadness, anxiety and relationship pains.
After our initial comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, we can discuss the right fit for you.
We recognize that deep healing is not linear and takes time and we look to you as a partner and active participant in your healing process.
